"This is my favorite place to go sit with a friend, or go for a short walk on the trails. Or drive your car down on the rocks in the summer and hang out. I will always love this spot. There is a eagle, or hawks nest there. I can't remember which. It has been there for years. The water gets high in spring due to snow melt, and the river is swift. So make sure to be safe around those waters if you're going to visit and you're new. Don't try to swim in those waters! Just a tip from a local to anyone who may be reading about this place for the first time.
Some people fish here, and some use the boat ramp. This is also a fabulous place for a picnic. But bring a blanket or something to sit on.
I have to come here when I needed to be alone, to sit in my car and enjoy the scenery. This is a great place for that. The trails are a short enough distance for small children as well. You used to be able to geocache around here, too. I'm sure you still can if you get the app."

"It's a nice place to go hang out in the water and fish. It's also the ending spot for rafters. If you have a big boat and you need to trailer it make sure to get there early because it gets extremely busy on the weekends. People end up parking in the grassy area etc. Ther is an outhouse but there are no other services offered!"

As summer arrives, the river typically calms down, offering a more serene experience. This is when the area truly shines for recreation. The gentler flow makes it ideal for fishing, and it serves as the final destination for many rafters.
