"The carousel is always enjoyable, a pass time for our area for decades yes. We always ride the carousel while we're at Highland to play at the park or to swim and our visit today was primarily to swim and the best part about the Highland Park Pool is that they put a liner in it so that it's not just concrete and scraping your feet and knees nice and smooth and kind to your feet and knees and hands whatever body part you scrape on it. You have to pay to swim but it's fair prices as long as you're a resident it's free for little ones four primary age kids and up to 17 I believe it's a dollar and then adults are $2 and seniors also have a discount and much more. Check out the Town of Union website under Parks if you need further information."
