"I stopped for a place to eat lunch. I don't know if the actual mansion is ever open to visitors. There were no signs to indicate if & when it was open, if so. While I was eating, a man walked past carrying a fishing rod. When I finished eating, I walked in the direction he had gone & found the Watauga River. The river was gorgeous. I will have to look this place up online & see if it is possible to see inside the mansion. 3 stars because there was not enough info available at the location."
