What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise SoJo Spa Club for its stunning NYC skyline views, extensive array of pools and saunas, and overall relaxing atmosphere. Many highlight the cleanliness and attentive staff, making it a worthwhile escape. Some minor drawbacks include potential crowds during peak times and a desire for more private changing areas.
"This is my 3rd trip to SoJo Spa and as expected it's still amazing! There are plenty of relaxing options, along with great dining choices. The staff was kind and attentive, which made the experience even better.
The locker rooms are impressive, but I do wish there were more locker seating and privacy, though—it felt a little awkward getting dressed and undressed in the open, especially during arrival and departure. The separate women and men bathhouse attached to the locker rooms offer amenities such as a cold plunge, wet and dry saunas, and more.
The spa provides complimentary robes and towels, and you can purchase self-care products. One thing to note: spa flip-flops aren’t complimentary, but they’re available for purchase at a small fee.
The only downside was the longer-than-expected wait line to get in, and the ongoing construction across the street, which slightly took away from the atmosphere.
That said, it was an amazing spa day overall, and I’ll definitely be returning—especially once the construction is complete.
Side note: Park in the free lot slightly past the spa. It's easier to get in and out then the valet option."

"I had a really nice experience at SoJo Spa Club in New Jersey. The entire place was exceptionally clean, well organized, and relaxing, and the staff were professional and attentive. I booked the body scrub and salt stone massage, and both services were very good.
If I could change one thing, it would be the shoe policy. Upon entering, they ask you to remove your shoes downstairs, but they don’t provide any alternative footwear. For a spa of this level and price point, I would gladly pay a few extra dollars to have disposable slippers available for guests. Walking around barefoot just didn’t feel right for me.
Other than that, I really enjoyed my visit. Everything felt peaceful and high end. I would definitely come back and recommend it, especially for anyone looking for a clean, rejuvenating spa experience in the area."

"I came here with a group for a nice relaxation day. Everyone found something that suited them. We tried the volcanic sand bath and it was HOT. Fun and glad we did it. I loved the quiet areas and how many options there were to relax. I have recommended this place to everyone!"
