"So tbh I didn’t feel this place lived up to expectations we drove out there the day of our flight heading home. This was the last beach we were going to it was a bit of a let down. To be fair it was very nice there but compared to other beaches we went to for free this beach was 8 bucks to get into the state park. Not trying to bash the place the rangers were all very nice the visitors center was also very nice just so many other beaches we went to were free and in my opinion nicer. I thought the shell tree was really cool too"

"Awesome place to go for a little day adventure. If you want to get all the way to the end of the island it will be a little bit of a hike. Pretty secluded the further you go though. Very nice powdery white sand beaches. Not too crowded on a weekend. The entry fee does cost but it’s not much, I think $4 per car or something. Cool wildlife to see as well. Several beach access points."

"We decided to explore a new spot while in Florida and headed to Honeymoon Island Beach just outside of Dunedin. The island is surrounded by lush greenery and nature, yet also offers a gorgeous stretch of beach. On the way in, we saw several turtles crossing the road—there are even special crossings for them, so be sure to slow down and watch out. It’s a perfect blend of natural beauty and seaside relaxation."
