"We had an amazing time relaxing at Park Point Beach. The parking lot was free and had many open spaces. It was a short walk from the lot to the lake. The sand was soft and comfortable to walk on barefoot. We loved sitting in the sand and watching my youngest daughter play in the waves. She made a sandcastle and we soaked up the sun. We could see Duluth, MN in the distance on the left, and Wisconsin on the right. We heard helicopters and saw them giving tours. My daughter kept finding interesting rocks for us to enjoy and skip back into the water.
There were beautiful grasses and little trails that might make amazing photo opportunities for sunset photo shoots. I’m so happy we stopped here. All of us would love to come again."

"I used to go here with my parents when I was a little girl. I'd find caterpillars while playing on the old playground that I wish they still had. This is an amazing park that makes me feel like I'm cruising by the ocean in California. They have a couple of beach volleyball courts, there's a place where you can rent boats. You can sit and have a picnic almost everywhere in this spread out park. There's a beach connected to this area behind the building. Or you could go for a helicopter ride at the airport at the end of the park. Not sure on how much the rides are but I know it gives a great view."

"Beautiful, lots of sand can be tough to walk on if you're older or have bad knees. Be aware there's a Lot of poison ivy on edges of trail. Loved it overall."
