Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about McDaniel Farm Park's charm, historical significance, and natural beauty. The well-maintained trails and dog park are frequently highlighted as major draws. While some may wish for more structured activities, the peaceful atmosphere and glimpse into the past make it a highly recommended destination for a relaxing outing.
"We loved this park! We enjoyed a walk here Mother's Day weekend 2025 and it was lovely. It was a tad chilly, so we needed our light jackets. We brought our dog Oskar with us and enjoyed such a beautiful walk along the water, in the forest, up to the house and farm buildings, around the gardens... It was awesome! I would even love to return on a hot summer day because the walk in the forest under the tree cover would keep us cool... Absolutely worth it!"

"I took my dog to McDaniel Farm Park and I must say that I was slightly impressed.
There are a couple of really nice fenced in runs. One for large dogs and another for smaller animals.
There are trees for shade and the grassy area was nice, clean and large enough for a good run
It was easy to find, easy to park and an easy walk to the dog runs.
I noticed a lot of folks walking their dogs on the trails and then stopping by the run for some off the leash fun.
Overall I would say this is a find. I will definitely be back with my boy. He gives it a 4 paw. His highest score. Lol"

"We had something else to do in the area this morning, so I got out my fluffy pom-pom hat and got some miles in. I've been wanting to get here for years. What a great park. Nice wide paced trails with options for shade when it's warmer. There's a variety of covered picnic tables and swings along the way. Just don't trip over the deer. 😉 We literally walked threw a herd of 13 and saw several more in another area. They're not skiddish, but don't get too close. They're not for petting. It was a peaceful space, but for more action there's also a dog park and playground. We got some nice pictures of the farmhouse, barns, farm equipment graveyard and bridges. Highly recommend for getting away from it all even if it's just for a few minutes."
