What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Porter Rockwell Trail is a popular spot for runners and walkers, praised for its scenic nature and open spaces. However, cyclists often find it frustrating due to numerous road crossings and train track barriers, making it less ideal for biking compared to other local trails.
"Nice trail for running and biking!"
Oliver Smith
"This is not a very good bike path. In fact, it might be the worst bike path in the Salt Lake Valley. At most road crossings, you have to stop, wait for the light, and then get your bike around the train/pedestrian gates. Getting past the pedestrian gates and over the tracks isn't always easy, or even possible if you're towing a trailer. To make things worse, the trail has several gaps and no signage on where (or if) it resumes. Overall, the Porter Rockwell trail is just nowhere near as bike friendly as the Jordan River or Mountain View trails."
Marques Nielson
"Very cool trail"
