"Great spot that can only be accessed from going Southbound on Otter Crest Loop. (Initial access is very close to the Rocky Creek State Scenic Viewpoint)
We had the parking lot to ourselves for 10 minutes before anybody else showed up) My pictures show the potential views.. great spot!
The rest of the drive heading south is a one way until you hit Otter Crest State Scenic Viewpoint...be sure to check out the views from the gift store, they really are amazing! (also can see whales from there)"

"Beautiful stop. Great scenery. Waterfall is a nice touch. Unfortunately it is under construction right now, so photography is not as great. I went here to photograph the bridge. But enjoyed it still."

The Charm of Ben Jones Bridge
Travelers often highlight the serene atmosphere and the opportunity for wave watching from this unique vantage point. The bridge itself is photogenic, and the natural setting provides a tranquil backdrop. It’s a place where you can pause, breathe in the salty air, and appreciate the simpler pleasures of coastal exploration. The fact that it's a 'hidden gem' adds to its allure, making it feel like a personal discovery.
While the bridge is the main attraction, the surrounding area also offers opportunities for wildlife viewing. Capturing the Scenery: Photography Tips
When composing your shots, consider the interplay between the bridge, the creek, and the ocean. A wide-angle lens is excellent for encompassing the entire scene, from the bridge's structure to the expansive coastline. For those interested in wildlife, a telephoto lens can be invaluable for capturing distant whale spouts or seabirds. Remember that coastal conditions can be dynamic; be prepared for changing light and weather. If construction is ongoing, as noted by some visitors, be patient and work with the available angles to create compelling images.
Beyond the visual appeal, the soundscape of the crashing waves and the cascading waterfall adds another dimension to the experience. While you can't capture sound in a still photograph, being present in the moment can inspire your photographic vision. The serenity of the location, especially outside peak hours, allows for a more contemplative approach to photography, enabling you to truly connect with the scene.
