"Lovely reserve with free parking! As a person who is overweight and starting to get into hiking/nature walks this was a great entry level park. Most paths had a only slight incline and were for the most part all gravel/dirt so its easy on the knees. There were plenty of benches along the many paths at good intervals for rests if you need them and the trails wove together in such a way that at almost anypoint you could head back to the parking lot with little fuss. We walked the full loop of the reserve which was a few miles in distance but it is very much a choose your own adventure in length with some trails being only half a mile or sorter.
The woods themselves were a beautiful escape from the city. There were several ponds and loads of wildlife. My partner and I even got within about 40ft of a deer! I am excited to go back in the fall."
