Reason #4267 to buy a farm in the country. When I moved to Delray Beach FL in 2018 this lady who lived in the same apartment complex as me got mad I “took her spot” in one of the many non-reserved parking spaces. SoI flipped her off 🖕🏼then she called the cops! Lol!

Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Delray Oaks Natural Area for its unexpected tranquility and natural beauty, offering a peaceful escape within the city. The well-maintained, shaded trails and impressive oak trees are frequently highlighted as major draws. While some note the lack of amenities like restrooms, the free entry and easy accessibility make it a beloved spot for a quick nature walk.

"Nice Tltiny trail which leads to a nice wooden deck under the shade of trees. Great for a brisk walk to get away from the city life. I didn't see any bathrooms around so keep that in mind if you visit."

"Beautiful quick trails to enjoy some Florida nature and bird watching. There’s a paved out and back walk that ends at a wood viewing platform among the trees and marked dirt trial through lots of trees and foliage. There’s some uncovered seating throughout both. It’s a nice spot to visit and see some birds, plants, and lots of oaks. Very peaceful!

It’s all free and there’s a parking lot up front. Both trails are easy walks in terms of footing and level. The paved path is especially well-maintained and smooth.

It’s a nice tranquil park for a quick walk."

"Delray oaks is a beautiful nature area in an otherwise suburban/office part of the city. It has one main trail that is completely paved, leading to wooden deck with benches at the back of the park. Their is one dirt offshoot trail where you can encounter some wildlife like snakes and turtles/tortoise (I am not sure which they are) as well as birds through out the park.

The walk is very easy and covered for almost the entire duration. If it is raining, the deck is wet but other parts of the trail stay relatively dry.

The main point of interest for me in the park is the large trees with sprawling limbs that intertwine with each other and create a very beautiful sight to look up at. These trees are a must see when you go to the park and they are easily seen above the trail throughout your walk."
