What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Decker Farm offers a traditional fall experience with pumpkin picking and hayrides, set against a backdrop of historical significance. While many visitors enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere and family-friendly activities, some find the admission fees and extra costs for attractions to be high, leading to mixed reviews on value.
"$12 entry for adults and $7 entry for children.
Cash or credit upon entry or on their website.
Lots more signage this year with warnings and expected behaviors. This farm is small enough for children with sensory needs to be manageable. The parking wasn't too bad when we arrived at 2:30PM, and the staff were all nice; at least whoever we encountered. My 5 y.o. loved the free hay ride; we did it about 6 times! The pumpkin patch is just pumpkins placed on hay in the open field, but for little kids, this is fine. There's a few photo opts if you're inclined, or can get your kid(s) to cooperate.
There was also a free kiddie corn maze and pumpkin chucking (3 pieces of broken pumpkin per person) which was fun and cute.
The airbrush tattoo station was a big hit with my son - $9 for a Captain America shield that lasts up to 4 days - was well worth it.
The toys offered are highly priced and absolutely NOT worth it."

"I’m only rating Decker Farm for their fall festival, since we have not visited for any other occasion.
First thing that is wrong with this festival, You have to pay to get in. What does that get you? It gets you the privilege of paying WAY too much for disgusting, burnt Arepas, stale donuts & popcorn. You get to stand in line for 30min to ride on a 10min hayride that does a small loop. You also get to pick a pumpkin that they probably bought at Trader Joe’s for $5 and put in their field and then charge you $30 for! The only free thing other than the hayride is a little hay maze for kids under 6, and I mean little.
The traffic to get there is crazy and there’s practically no parking.
The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 was because there are a few ok photo opps and the pumpkin launcher, which also cost extra, was a little fun."

"Such a great place. We go every year and now my kid 17 year old and still our yearly traditional pumpkin picking place. Great activities for the kiddos. Simple foods, sit eat and relax. Adult admission. Free parking."
