Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the M-Line Trolley as a free, charming, and convenient way to explore Dallas's Uptown and Arts District. The historic streetcars and friendly operators are frequently highlighted as major positives, offering a unique and enjoyable experience for all ages. While free, donations are encouraged to support the service.
"They run old, charming trolley cars (the oldest from pre-WW1, most “modern” built 1970) on a nice route in a nice area. The service is frequent (~15 minutes between trolleys) and stops in good locations. The operators are all very friendly and helpful and will stop traffic for you if needed. The trolley is free to ride but donations are encouraged to keep the service running. If you’re in the area its worth a ride just for fun and you can use it as a form of transport of course"

"The M Line Trolley is such a gem—and the best part? It’s free! 🚋✨ You can ride it from downtown to West Village and back. It’s such a fun way to explore, even if I only discovered it on my way back to the city! 😅🎉 Definitely worth hopping on for the experience. 🚊💫"

"The trolley is so fun when you’re out and about and just looking for things to do. The best motorman there is GRANT! He was driving Betty. My boyfriend and I stayed on the trolley even as it was getting fixed just to enjoy his company and watch him work. He’s very passionate about his job and knows everything about Trolleys. I’m excited to go back and take my daughter. I think she would adore the experience. We’ll definitely be looking for whatever trolley Grant is driving that day!"
