What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Chapel in the Hills for its stunning, unique architecture, a faithful replica of a Norwegian stave church, and its serene setting among the pines. The sermons are often described as insightful and relevant. However, some guests have noted that the congregation could be more welcoming to visitors, and disruptive noise from young children during services has been an issue for some.
"Wonderful sermon; gifted pastor weaving just the right amount (not too much) of personal, anecdotal, relevance-now material in with rich scripture and exposition of Bible. Would have given 5 stars but for the constant and continuous loud talking by toddlers, especially during prayer and sermon, making it very difficult to hear. Very distracting. Sorry to have missed much of God's rich message because of that. Congregation could be friendlier to visitors. Only 3 people said just a hello. Stayed after for coffee and spoke with other first time visitors, because no one else was."

"I believe I'm qualified to lea a Google review as a member of this congregation 😁. This body of believers and spiritual leadership can truly be said to love follow God's word. In the culture today you will rarely find the kind of honest transparency balanced with compassionate humility practiced by the family of faith here.
We call it practicing the "one another" commands."

"This was my home church for sometime, and I have full confidence in their love for Christ. Their goal is His glory, and their battle cry is love."
