What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Cliffs of Id is widely praised for its excellent bouldering, creative route setting, and welcoming community atmosphere. Visitors love the variety of climbs for all skill levels and the friendly staff. However, the most significant drawback consistently mentioned is the challenging and often frustrating parking situation, which can detract from the overall experience for drivers.
"Alex was amazing from the moment we walked in. He made us feel comfortable right away. I took my two oldest kids, ages nine and seven, and we got a day pass. Alex walked us around, explained how everything works, and spent time making sure we understood the system. We ended up spending a couple of hours there and mostly stayed around what they call the turtle.
The kids had a great time! There were plenty of routes that felt approachable. We started with VB and worked our way into V0. It was fun, manageable, and encouraging.
I was honestly a little hesitant to bring my kids because I thought they might be too young, but they absolutely loved it. Now they are already asking when we can go back, so I guess we will be making that happen.
Overall, it was a really welcoming environment. The place is clean, airy, and feels like a strong community. Parking was easy, even though it was getting busy by the time we arrived. We had a lot of fun and will definitely be back."
