"Truly special little place. Interesting subject matter that affects us all - how is land used with different exhibits that relate for public view. Wonderful curated bookstore as well as a research library that is open to browse and read. Glad this is in Los Angeles and open to the public."

"I visited around 2008 and it changed the way i think of human landscapes. I still have a couple of the heavy books I bought from the fascinating bookshop and hauled back to Australia in my hand luggage."

"From what I could tell this is a small one room gallery with an attached library. I came for an exhibit on mining land use. Unfortunately, if was just a lot of pictures of mines from Google Earth. I learned nothing. Admittedly,, this was my third museum that day and fatigue had set in so there may be more to this place that i just missed.
On weekends you can park in the parking lot of the printing office just across the street to the west as this business is closed on the weekend. They did open 15 min later than advertised."
