"This is my very first time visiting a winery for a wine tasting activity with my family and I'd say the experience was wonderful. We went here late afternoon and got some red wines to try. I literally have no idea that red wine has different variations and so, because of the wine tasting we did, I found out my preferred type and it was enjoyable! The wines are amazing!
The whole King Family Vineyards offers such a cozy place with lots of wines to choose from. They also sell frozen treats, souvenirs, clothing and more. The staff are nice, too.
I've got to see people hanging out and having fun, enjoying a beautiful day around the vineyard. Some folks play some polo, too! This place is really beautiful because you see so much greenery and mountains around that makes this place the perfect spot to relax and unwind."

"Happy Anniversary day! This place is beautiful!  We enjoyed the venue and the staff and ownership of this place was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. If you sit on the back patio, you can see a beautiful mountain side across the valley. And one of the vineyards and the farmhouse and green fields! The wines are lovely, our favorite was the chardonnay, however there were multiple wines we really enjoyed.
We give these folks high marks for their professionalism and courtesy. We highly recommend them if you will be going to the Charlottesville Virginia area. "

"I loved this place. The grounds were lovely. We took a tour with the founder. A very gracious lady who started the vineyard from scratch , with her husband. The cooperation with her children and even polo classes held in the estate. The challenges of weather, diseases pests etc and her family’s resilience and determination to keep going. The distillery, the tasting , the conversation with the sommelier. They have beautiful wine. It was well worth it. Try it."
