"Such a cool and interesting museum about some of the seedier aspects of frontier life! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the house is in excellent shape with many original artifacts from its time as a house of ill repute. Highly recommended for visitors and regulars to Cripple Creek alike!"

"This place is absolutely a fantastic piece of history to this gold mining town.
The ladies taking us through the tour were soo knowledgeable that the past came to life. Walking through the door, the 1800’s comes into frame. As they stated, many gold mine deals were discussed & closed within those walls.
Everything here is exquisite & a must see for any antique/history aficionados. Even the door hinges were handcrafted!"

"We had an AMAZING time at the Old Homestead Museum! It was such a quirky and bizarre little place, and the history was fun to learn about.
This is the only former brothel I’ve ever been to, but it was charming. The tour takes about an hour and I think kids might get bored by the downstairs tour describing many of the original items from the home, but once the guides get into the story of the place more, it gets more fun. Definitely a cute stop worth my of a visit. Tickets are cheap!"
