Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the stunning beauty and incredible views of Fort Ebey Bluff Trail, calling it a must-visit for its coastal scenery and mix of bluff and beach hiking. While the trail is generally considered easy to moderate, some find the narrow bluff sections with steep drop-offs challenging, and the rocky beach can be unsteady. Parking is limited, and a Discover Pass is required.

"I’m giving it 5 stars for the beauty of the hike. It could be improved upon if they added new signage along the trail that is desperately needs.
There is a map at the start of the trail, but it isn’t easily understood that you can begin the hike on the beach or on the bluff.
There is a restroom at the base of the trail. It’s is very clean and offers hand sanitizer, but no sink or way to wash up.
Parking is available, but it is limited. A state discovery pass is required.
Pets are allowed.
The trail up is well tended, there are some roots exposed in one section that make for unsteady walking. It is mainly a single file hike on the way up.
On the way down it is as well and once you reach the bottom you will hike on the beach for almost two miles. I found it lovely as I enjoy being close to the water, but it can make for unsteady hiking as it is very rocky and of course the sand is unstable.
It’s about 3.5 miles in total and I would say an overall easy hike. There are a few steep bits, but plenty of spots to stop and catch your breath, if needed."

"Such a beautiful hike for gorgeous views! I think the photos speak for themselves, parking(you need a discover pass) was actually ok on a Saturday afternoon but I think everyone was scared of the rain lol(it ended up being sunny 🤷🏽‍♀️) trail was a bit muddy so be aware of that, and there is restrooms in the parking lot. It’s a little steep and there is a bench half way on the trail."

Lilypad

"Best hike around Seattle! Not too hard: 6km with minimal elevation and killer views! Plus half of the trail is along the beach. 2hours round trip."
