Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Willamette Park Portland, highlighting its natural beauty, well-maintained trails, and family-friendly amenities. It's particularly praised as a dog-friendly haven with a great off-leash area. While generally loved, some mention the presence of poison oak as a minor concern.

"We only hiked the main paved trail, but it was beautiful, clean, and mostly shaded. We took the dogs on a hike, just maybe 2 1/2 miles, tops, and it was really nice.

There is a non-fenced dog park along the way. If tou have good dogs that don't wonder, the dog park, and parts of the trails are available for off leash dogs.

The paved trail was a decent width, allowing 3 dogs to walk side-by-side, and 3 people to walk side-by-side behind them with decent spacing. On the paved trail bikes are allowed, so you have to make way every once in a while.

The entrance to the trail is by the Disc Golf entrance, and you will see Disc Golf being played throughout. Also, at the entrance, there is a small kid's playground and real bathrooms."

"One of the best parks I've ever been to in any city. It feels like you're in nature and everyone there has good vibes.

Off leash dog area and the poison oak is well maintained compared to other parks in Corvallis. There still IS poison oak tho (I wish I could report it to the parks and recs guys)

I've been here several times even though I want to try something new this place has it all."

"Adjacent to a residential area and kind of a hidden gem. This pristine and well-maintained park sits on the bluff overlooking the Willamette river. There are plenty of wide-open spaces for family gatherings, picnics, soccer and etc. I could imagine this park would be popular with families during the summertime. It is dog friendly but they must be on a leash. Easy access to the river for rock hounds looking for that million dollar stone. Great great place to spend the day"
