"GIVES ME HOPE FOR HUMANITY! What I just witnessed was truly amazing, kudos to the staff of Coronado Shores and the beautiful lady receptionist for Las Palmas. One of the beautiful black crows that live here had a piece of fishing line wrapped around its leg and was dangling from a tree branch while the rest of the crows were literally screaming for help, they took ladders cut the branches retrieved the bird and removed the tangled fishing line wrapped around its poor foot. That bird was lucky. He flew away exhausted but FREE! I LOVE IT HERE. GOD BLESS"

"While our home in Del Cerro was being renovated, we stayed at the Coronado Shores for several months. Our first stay was at the Las Flores tower which was a lovely experience where we were made to feel immediately at home and welcomed by the AirB&B host Carlos Escaba. The views were spectacular and the accommodations superb. The staff, doormen were lovely, helpful and warm— always taking a moment to chat with you and often rising from their seats to open the door for you! If we had just stayed here I would have happily given the Coronado Shores a 5 star rating, but unfortunately our next stay at the La Sierra tower has turned out to be a very different experience, and thus the overall 3 star rating of the Coronado Shores. Mind you these are very expensive luxury units, but beware it is quite hit or miss with the realtors and the staff and climate at each tower, and it was very much a miss at La Sierra, with a very unhelpful and frankly rude realtor and staff.
Owners please be aware that as renters of your property, though you might have a lovely view, our experience is very much dependent on who represents you! A saving grace for us was when this owner sent an ambassador (a good friend of his) to help us out with all the problems we were experiencing while his friend was visiting from Madrid! Thank you! The doormen ( in stark contrast to those at the las Flores tower ) barely look up when you pass them in the lobby, and when we called to address a recent issue with a foul smell coming from several carts of dirty laundry left by the elevators we were told by the doorman that there was, “nothing he could do…that this wasn’t a hotel… “ then promptly hung up on!
To future vacationers and lessors… please choose carefully with whom you deal with and recognize the different environments that are to be found here! If I can enlighten just one person, my review will have been worth the time.
No one informed us, neither the rental agent, the condo owner, the condo association that the water and air has become so polluted that it’s been making people living by that part of the coast sick! We had to invest in costly air purifiers and curtail our activities. I started wheezing for the first time in my life!"
