"What a gorgeous spot. Amazing views and definitively well worth the drive. We came for the Kayaking and spent an amazing afternoon taking it all in. Be thing I don’t understand a why one needs a permit to enjoy the park"

"Great Hudson riverside park for its view. Parking permit or online payment required. Newly constructed (2023) restrooms. A dozen wooden tables and few grills. Great for train spotting along side park (freight) and directy across the Hudson (passenger). Not great for fishing as the water is fairly shallow a good ways out and rocky. Can easily become over-capacity on weekends and holidays. Do not park outside the designated parking spots. The train is wider than you think."

"One of our favorite parks along the Hudson river. It is very well maintained but the geese can make it messy if you’re planning on walking on grass"
