Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Spencer Crest Nature Center for its beautiful, accessible trails and the engaging nature museum, especially the unique exhibits. While the natural setting is a significant draw, some reviewers note that trail maintenance and the center's irregular hours can be drawbacks. Despite these minor issues, it's considered a lovely gem for nature walks and family outings.

"Google said the center was open, but that was incorrect. It appears they do not have regular hours. And the handicap bridge to the building is broken. The trails are open daily, but when I was there the trails were not clear. I did enjoy my walk and the fall colors."

Cindy Graham

"Beautiful trails that are fairly well marked and maps posted sporadically throughout. There’s a Fibonacci Walk and the pond is just beautiful. I didn’t get to visit the nature center but the trails were wonderful. I went after a lot of rain so it was buggy and muddy but still a lovely walk."

Leah

"Lovely spot for a nature walk just a few minute drive from Corning. Lots of trail options for a short or longer walk and all mostly flat. The pond is just a few minute walk from the parking lot. This time of year the foliage is stunning. Wish the boardwalks and trails were a little better maintained. The boardwalk was broken in several spots and some trails had overgrown brush, but overall it's a perfect spot to getaway into nature."
