"Glimmerglass Opera! What a rich memories over the years I have ! Each summer 3 operas + 1 musical – what a treat!! And everything under Francesca Zambello WONDERFULL direction is so superb! Glimmerglass is nice place for summer resting treats (by Otsego Lake) + provides incredible cultural experiences. One doesn’t need to go to far away Bayreuth, Salzburg, Pesaro, Verona, etc. – this festival is so good by itself, and it doesn’t require extensive travelling. It is so professional, has ALWAYS interesting titles, and exceptional singers. With pre performances lecturers, and post performances Questions & Answers – meeting with producers and cast. Over the years, I never was any time disappointed. Period. Highly recommended !"
