What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN, receives praise for its impressive recreation facilities and the passionate faculty, especially in engineering programs. However, some academic departments, like Accounting, have faced criticism for outdated materials and inefficient processes. Parking for visitors can also be a point of concern.
"I had a really bad experience with the Accounting department. I completed my master’s degree and had to pay for the Becker exam plus an additional $1,000 per class (totaling $4,000) just to submit my Becker exam results.
They don’t provide any real instruction for Becker, but they require a 4-hour class just to submit the results—which makes no sense.
Also, I promise you won’t learn anything from the auditing class. The videos they upload on the website are extremely outdated.
The only good part of the program is the staff in the education office—they are genuinely helpful."

"This goes out to the customer support she’s from Tennessee and her name is Charlotte. She is if I could give her 5+ stars just say it like this she is your greatest asset. No robot can replace a live person and she is priceless if all customer service was like heryou would never have a customer that would ever hang up unsatisfied after talking with her. She is the prime example of what customer service is all about and I was all upset because it was showing catnip, and my cat was having a fit, and I am the neighborhood drug dealer for the cats in the neighborhood and the catnip was dead, and it was showing that they had it, but I could not even have it shipped. Not only did she explain everything she made me smile. She made me realize they’re still people with morals and values. She is your most priceless asset."

"My child is looking into colleges and interested in Chemical Engineering. Techs campus was very impressive from the original meet and great to the tour and then meeting the professors for my child’s specific choice of majors. The professor Sanders passion for what he taught was obvious and made Tech my child’s #1 pick so far.
The recreation facilities to the cafeteria were all exceptional as was all the staff we encountered."
