What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Coney Island Museum and Circus Sideshow for their unique charm, historical significance, and entertaining performances. It's described as a true American treasure that offers a delightful blend of nostalgia and live spectacle, making it a highly recommended stop for anyone visiting the area.
"We had a great time seeing Coney Island’s Side Show. We were here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We have been to this show many times, but I would have to say that this performance stood out above the other times we have been there. The performances were engaging and we all had a really great time. I encourage anyone visiting New York City or who is in the Alan area to check out the Coney Island sideshow. It is fun and it is the only sideshow that is remaining in the whole United States. In addition, it’s family friendly and it’s a great way to spend part of your day in Coney Island."
Mindy Osansky
"My family got to see all the preserved artifacts of Coney Island and carnival history in the upstairs museum (pieces from original rides over 100 years old!) and also experience it live in person at the sideshow performance on the main stage (stunning, fiery and funny, with that old-timey charm of "I bet I can get one more dollar from you before you leave"). Stopped for sodas and beers in the on-site Freak Bar on the way out to talk about what our favorite parts were.
Coney Island USA is a true American treasure!"
