Unlike the U.S. Supreme Court, Ohioans get to vote on who represents them in the state’s highest court. This year’s Ohio Supreme Court race is especially important as three seats are up for grabs, including the Chief Justice. Many highlight the free admission and the educational value of the exhibits and guided tours. While security is present, it's seen as a necessary step for accessing this impressive civic landmark.

"After reading "Art and History in the Ohio Judicial Center" by Richard W. Burry, I had to take a trip to downtown Columbus and see the Ohio Judicial Center for myself. It really is a hidden gem of Ohio history and Art Deco style. To see all of the history and art presented will take more than one trip!
Completed in 1933 (without W.P.A. funds), the Ohio State Departments Building was designed to illustrate Ohio's history and what, a century ago, was Ohio's present.  It was fully renovated, restored, and repurposed in 2004 as the Ohio Judicial Center. In 2011, it was rededicated as the Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center."
