"Short family Christmas getaway for all the memories!! I love how kid and dog friendly the Broadmoor was!! Was expecting a stuffy atmosphere and thankfully was nothing like that! My two rambunctious boys were so happy to pet every four legged dog that walked by! We decided to order room service breakfast instead of trying to get a table and I'd definitely recommend!!"

"Astoundingly beautiful resort hotel. The views and landscape are breathtaking. World famous golf course needs to be played to be believed. There were a few moments with the service and other features that were less than five star but few and far between. Food was fantastic most times. Perfect for a couples retreat, family getaway or company function. Rustic antique design couples with modern amenities to make this a truly unique experience. Highly recommend."

"First time at the Broadmoor. The property is beautiful, well kept and the service is excellent. The shops and galleries are very nice and the lake views with all the ducks and geese are amazing. The staff are friendly and their service was excellent. The spa is average at best, and spaces to relax and take in the scenery are limited (only 4 chairs to sit in and look out at the scenery). The only whirlpool is a floor below connected to an indoor pool that is open to all guests. The pool and whirlpool was over run with kids and is anything but a relaxing environment. The hotel should have staff overseeing the jacuzzi/whirlpool, keeping kids out. As for the food, the Summit was exceptional! The Cafe's baked goods and coffee was excellent. The other restaurants were ok but Very OverPriced. If you want to just sit at a bar and just have a few cocktails, good luck on finding a seat, actually there is only two bars one in the main building and one in the Italian restaurant. As for activities 7 Falls was shut down and the Garden of the God's was the only attraction opened (very breathtaking and great hiking). Playing a round of winter golf was good and the course was very nice. Overall, I recommend the hotel for it's location, ambiance and service. I would likely not visit again because there are very few activities in the Colorado Springs area."
