What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Fox Run Regional Park's beautiful Ponderosa pine forests, serene ponds with koi fish, and excellent amenities like playgrounds and picnic areas. It's a highly-rated spot for families, dog owners, and nature lovers seeking a peaceful escape. Some minor drawbacks include occasional restroom closures and the behavior of some local hikers.
"Fox Run is my go to trail for when I want to hike… Fox Run regional park goes beyond just walking, there’s 2 playgrounds, gazebos and benches for if you want to have an outdoor lunch, and even a dog park. My main reason for going to the park is for the hiking trails, the trails are remote, and the trees make me feel isolated and alone. The scenery is beautiful, the terrain is pretty hilly, and it’s very green back there. Overall, I really like Fox Run Regional park, and I’ll be coming back consistently."

"This park is gorgeous! It has multiple play structures for kids of all ages, a rock climbing wall, many interesting features for the kids to play with in the parks and a beautiful pond with a fountain and gazebo in the middle. Absolutely lovely and perfect for kids and dogs. Very clean and well maintained, as well."

"Such a beautiful and well maintained park! We visited with our 2, 6 and 11 year old and they enjoyed the playground and we had lunch on the grassy area. The only downside was the restrooms were closed so they had portable potties instead, however they were clean and well maintained. There were families playing sports on the large grassy areas, birthday parties and families having a picnic like us. We were visiting from out of town and were seeking a more rural and clean park away from the traffic, so if that's what your looking for, make the drive out to this park you will not be disappointed!"
