Reviews Summary
The Flats East Bank is praised for its vibrant waterfront atmosphere, diverse dining, and lively nightlife, offering great views and entertainment options. However, some residents report significant issues with apartment management, building maintenance, and high rental costs, leading to a mixed overall experience for those considering living there.
"Never lived here but the area is cool. Good to see them try to create a unique waterfront that’s walkable. It was pretty dead on a Wednesday but I’d assume the weekends were more fun. Love the sound stage, the cool bars with outdoor seating. IMO it’s way overpriced though. And I’d bet 90% of young adults that live here their parents are paying their rent. $1,400 to $4,000 a month is insane. Who can afford that!? I need to find out what you ppl do for work man. Anywho, the flats have lots of potential. It’s almost a Colorado vibe with all the outdoor seating. I think Cleveland is out pricing its own market tho with the gentrification. If you want to connect downtown to the flats and have the same crowd, you’ll need more outdoor special events on the weekly. And overall make it more accessible to all people. It feels like a college campus with dorms and suite style housing."

"The view is amazing and the location is great!
Besides that I absolutely hate living here. Management is terrible constant power outages and the elevator is always broken. When it's not broken, it drops two inches randomly when you get in, makes a terrifying noise, and shakes the elevator violently. Myself and neighbors included have pointed this out as very annoying. A little girl even started crying due to the loud noise and shake when she was inside the elevator. For $4,500 a month it is not worth it at all!
The Flats at East Bank is premium price for SECTION EIGHT quality.
An edit on this review will be applied every time the elevator does this, along with the date of the incident, so anyone planning on moving in here can see just how terribly managed this place is. Nine more months left will be interesting to see how many timestamps are left below this. My review will be deleted if proper action is taken place.
1. July 26th, 1:48 AM – Elevator malfunction."

"The new amazing is amazing!! Amber is the new property manager and has done a great job in bringing the community together and serving the residents with world class service.
I couldn't be more happier with the new property managers!! :))
Some of the things I love about the property:
The management team is quick to respond to any help
The rooftop deck is actually pretty nice. Didn’t realize it until summer hit this year and I was working from home (covid life)
I feel safe in this building as you require a fob to get in the building and also for the elevator
Bunch of restaurants on the first floor - makes it easy to grab a bite when you don’t want to cook
Discounted price at the local gym next door
Plus the views are awesome. I’ll post some pics here once I figure out how! Haha"
