What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Portofino Harbor for its stunning beauty, picturesque harbor, and charming pastel buildings, offering a quintessential Italian Riviera experience. However, many find it to be quite expensive, especially for day trips, and some feel it can be overrated compared to expectations. The facilities are generally well-maintained, and the views are consistently highlighted as a major draw.
"We just moved our boat here and so far we couldn't be happier. People are friendly and we enjoy the energy of the area. Our favorite part is watching the different boats coming and going up the channel. Facilities are clean and well-maintained. I will update after a few months but right now we are very happy."

"Best marina on Clear Lake IMHO. Very well maintained with great facilities (pool, showers, laundry, club houses) and excellent floating docks that survived hurricane Ike with nearly zero damage to the docks and moored boats. It is very close to the outlet on to Galveston Bay so a very short trip to begin sailing. And the parking here is the best, period. You can park close yo your boat so getting gear and food aboard is easy. The staff, including the Dockmaster and office are very helpful and friendly. Add in live aboard-friendly and you have an exceptional marina. There are some reviews that trash this marina and they are misguided. The pool is scheduled for a complete rehab shortly (and it is very good right now considering the problems with soil stability due to the shifting soil in this area). Termites are an issue at every marina in this area. Flying termites don't come from the dock. I also find the showers/bathrooms to be very clean."

"Place has a pool, laundry room, showers and clean bathrooms! Best thing is absolutely the view and all passing boats while relaxing!"
