What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Piatt Park is recognized for its historical significance as Cincinnati's oldest park and its aesthetic appeal, particularly its overhead lighting and surrounding architecture. However, some visitors have expressed concerns regarding cleanliness and safety due to issues with homelessness and drug activity, advising caution, especially at night.
"Piatt used to be a beautiful strolling park. Beautiful flowers, trees and quiet environment.
Thanks to the homeless coalition free electricity is provided which has destroyed the landscape and the safety of the community. Beautiful flowers have been replaced with syringes and trash. Not to mention these homeless use our buildings and alleys as restrooms. It’s literally a public toilet. Do better Cincinnati."

This park has lights hanging over it, and you can see several nice buildings here. I gave this park five stars because it’s a nice looking park with overhead lights that provide a great aesthetic."

"Piatt park has a cool history, as it is the oldest park in the city of cincinnati. However the park is riddled with drugs and homeless people. Watch your step when you're walking through as people drop their drugs and paraphernalia. If you walk your animals through the park, make sure to watch them and make sure they dont eat anything off the ground. It is common that when the temperature warms up, animals will overdose on eating things off the floor. I wouldnt walk here at night either."
