What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Hyde Park Square is widely loved for its vibrant Sunday farmers market, charming atmosphere, and excellent dining options. Visitors appreciate the variety of local vendors, the pleasant green space with a fountain, and the dog-friendly environment. Some find the farmers market a bit pricey, and wish for more seating or shade for performers.
"Wonderful place for a farmers market. It would benefit from more chairs. Also, there were a couple playing music in the sun! It was so hot and the only place they could set their stuff was in the sun. I wish there was a way to keep them cool and in the shade.
The farmers market was a bit pricey, but the tea booth was amazing. They had great and refreshing combinations. The Popsicles were pretty good too."

"Come on Sunday and enjoy the market. Parking on the street is available and you get to shop from local vendors enjoy a treat (popsicles, cookies, muffins, etc.) and listen to live music. You can get breakfast or lunch from vendors at the market or from the many store front businesses in the area."
Ezra Rubi
"This small square has a great little farmers market early on Sundays in warmer months. The market is nice. The surrounding buildings are mostly nice businesses and apartments from the first half of last century, including some in classical and Art Deco styles. The park-like center of the square is mostly shaded by trees, with a nice little fountain and a flagpole. It is quite pleasant during the market, and had live music while we were there. Without the streets blocked off for that event, I fear it would be bit less pleasant with more traffic to dodge to get into the park-like central part of the square, and more road noise."
