"It is hard to believe this is man made. The variety of wildlife is remarkable.
We got there early on a Saturday morning, and took a tram tour. Our guides were very knowledgeable, patient, and pleasant. The tram tours are free, but donations are accepted, and keep the trams running.
If you are visiting Central Florida, this is a great experience. If you enjoy the outdoors, wildlife, birding, hiking, or photography, this is a great way to spend a couple of hours
There is also an educational center which includes a gift shop and cold soda.
There is a long boardwalk I am saving for my next visit.
It's best to go before it gets too warm, and don't forget your hat, sunscreen, and water!
The guides did remind us to stay on the trails. You are in the wetlands, and it is home to snakes and gators too."
