Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Falling Waters State Park for its unique natural features, including Florida's tallest waterfall and intriguing sinkholes. The well-maintained trails and clean facilities, especially for camping, are frequently highlighted. However, some reviewers note that the waterfall's flow is highly dependent on recent rainfall, and it can be a mere trickle during dry periods.

"We just got back from camping there and we had the best time! We took our three kids 6 and under and they had a blast. The majority of people were in RV’s/campers but we took tents and it was still great. We didn’t know at the time but the tents have to be put up on the gravel which was no problem to move. The bathrooms and showers were VERY well taken care of and in a great and easy location to get to from our site. The trails are great and were easy for our kiddos, the playground close to the waterfall was so fun for them and there are many places to go and sit and have lunch. The whole State Park is very well taken care of! We are already looking forward to our next visit!"

Cami Laird

"Great small park with campground . Clean and well kept. We stayed in site 4 . Easy to back into . 50 amp. Slight pitch to left side was overcome with leveling blocks. All good. Trails to the sink holes and falls are easy to navigate. The lake is down about 18" causing the falls to be minimal. We'll come back during rainy season to get the full effect."

Bob Mello

"Unfortunately the Waterfall was dried up. There was a trickle drip, but I wouldn't have gone had I'd known it was dried up. It had a nice boardwalk to walk through and did see a deer grazing and some huge bugs and they flew..."
