"Such a beautiful and well maintained cemetery on the south side of Chicago. So many ornate and interesting headstones and several famous resting places, including Jesse Owens, Harold Washington and Nancy Green (Original Aunt Jemima). You can feel the otherworldly sense of peace that inhabits this place. I know a lot of people don’t like to visit cemeteries, but I found this one very uplifting 😊👍"

"Since 1983, my family entrusted this cemetery as the final resting place for our loved ones. It was once a premier cemetery. During recent years, ownership changed hands to Dignity Memorial and the upkeep has continually gone downhill! Even though I live hundreds of miles away, my intent was for this cemetery to be my final earthly home, but based upon the neglect of proper maintenance and care that I’ve witnessed, including during the Fourth of July this year, I now know that I will not!"

"Nice Cemetery that contains Nancy Green who was the original Aunt Jemima. So if you find yourself here then pay her a visit."
