What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the breathtaking panoramic views and the unique thrill of the TILT experience. The staff is often noted as friendly and helpful, and CloudBar offers a pleasant spot to enjoy drinks with a view. Some find the TILT to be an additional cost that might not be worth it for everyone, and occasional mentions of cleaning could be improved.
"Great views over the city, the tilt experience is well worth it. I went in 9.15am just after it opened. No queues, i paid on the door $57 all in, i didn’t pay for any fast track queue jumping, didn't need it. Was told if it was much later in the day or at the weekends it would be helpful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Some nice drinks at the bar"

"Great view, worth the money. Strong drinks and lots of places to sit up top. Elevator trip was quick and efficient. The Tilt ride the kids had fun on. There was a lot of great history in the lobby before the elevator ride. Only complaint would be the spider webs were getting really thick on the outside, but I am sure it’s not the easiest to clean. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Chicago, especially for the 1st time."

"I visited 360 Chicago in the evening and waited until sunset, which turned out to be the perfect timing—the views were absolutely incredible as the city lights came on. The Tilt experience is a must do, and it feels both thrilling and safe as you lean out over the city from the 94th floor.
If you're planning to try the Tilt, I recommend getting a package ticket ahead of time. We didn't, and ended up paying extra. Overall, it's a fantastic way to see Chicago from above, especially after sunset."

For Different Travelers
Tailored advice for your travel style
👨👩👧 Families with Kids
Consider visiting earlier in the day to avoid potential meltdowns from tired little ones and to take advantage of fewer crowds. The observation deck is spacious, allowing kids to move around a bit. While CloudBar offers drinks, it's not ideal for a full family meal, so plan dining before or after your visit.
💰 Budget Travelers
Focus on the general admission ticket for the incredible views, which are the main draw. If the TILT is a must-do, look for package deals online in advance, as they can sometimes be more economical than purchasing separately on-site. Enjoying a coffee or a single drink at CloudBar can be a more budget-friendly way to experience the lounge than ordering multiple cocktails.
💑 Couples
Consider booking a visit that includes sunset and the early evening hours to witness the city lights sparkle. The TILT experience can be a fun, shared thrill, and enjoying a drink together at CloudBar provides an intimate setting with an unparalleled view.

Capturing Chicago's Skyline
For the most dramatic shots, consider visiting during sunset. This magical time allows you to photograph the city as it transitions from daylight to the twinkling lights of the evening. The golden hour light casts a beautiful glow over the architecture, and the subsequent emergence of city lights creates a stunning contrast. Early mornings are also excellent for photography, offering softer light and fewer crowds.
While personal devices are welcome for capturing your own memories, remember that the TILT experience itself prohibits personal cameras. However, professional photographers are on hand to capture your TILT moments, which can be purchased as a unique souvenir.
