What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the Centennial Greenway for its convenient parking, flat paved surface ideal for walking, running, and biking, and the sense of security provided by its open levee-top location. Some find the scenery less engaging due to its proximity to busy roads, and the trail's segmentation by commercial areas can be a minor inconvenience.
"In town with my oldest daughter for a softball tournament and she wanted to find a place to run. There is parking here for several vehicles. The trail is on top of the levee so as far as security, one should feel safe because you can see in all directions and there are no trees or obstructions near the trail. Also, the trail follows the road and there was enough traffic to feel like you have access to a help in an emergency if needed. Nothing complicated. Just a flat, relatively straight trail to run, walk, or bike."
Billy Parker
"With so many gorgeous walking trails in the area - this one is along side a busy road and loses some ambiance. It’s nicely paved and flat with plenty of parking. A nice 4 mile round trip to the end and back."
