"So much knowledge can be found here at this museum/school! We saw so many artifacts, maps, books, learned about statues and took a nature hike thru the woods that Clark's family owned looking at all types of flora and feathers. Alexandria even gave us a lovely lunch recommendation as well. I was really glad we took this tour before going to Monticello. LOVED it."
Lauren (Paige Turner)
"What an extraordinary experience! We happened to be in Cville and stumbled upon this museum. We made our reservation and met with our guide Alexandria the next morning. My husband and I are both geographers and are well-versed with the adventures of Lewis and Clark but this museum definitely caught us off guard, both inside and outdoors. There are replicas of the keel boats used on the expedition and we also trekked a bit along the Rivanna River. We gained so much insight to not only Lewis and Clark, but Thomas Jefferson, Sacajawea and Pomp, York, etc. The museum offers a unique experience for all ages and Alexandria provided a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm of not only its history but its flora and fauna as well. What a treasure trove!!!"
