What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise St. Patrick's Cathedral for its breathtaking beauty, architectural grandeur, and serene atmosphere, often describing it as a spiritual sanctuary in the heart of New York City. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, a few mention minor issues with administrative oversight during sensitive events.
"I attended both daily and Sunday Masses at St. Patrick’s as an out-of-town visitor this past week. It is a beautiful cathedral in a beautiful neighborhood. The priest was very reverent and gave excellent homilies. If you are a visitor to Charlotte, I highly recommend visiting this church. I look forward to visiting again in the future."
Scotty Hudson
"This is a marvelous church! Traditional, partial Latin Novus Ordo. If their Bishop messes this up, his sanity should be questioned! Worth a trip to Charlotte just to experience this church!"
J M
"What an emotional rollercoaster to attend the funeral of a close friend and notice mid-service that the printed memorial program had the wrong name written in it. Sadness turned quickly to disdain for the Cathedral. Rest in peace to “Patricia” but unfortunately we had no idea who that is… I wish the church staff took more care to remove such a blatant typo for such a sensitive occasion."
