What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Cerro Cabrillo offers breathtaking panoramic views from its summit, a reward for a very challenging and steep hike. While the ascent is tough with loose terrain and boulder scrambling, many find the effort worthwhile. Trails around the base are great for biking and easier hikes.
"This is an absolutely fantastic viewpoint with commanding vistas in all directions. But please note, the route up to the top is EXREMELY DIFFICULT. The trail is very, very steep and you must take caution so as to not slip. Once you're at the top, the trail ceases to be a trail entirely and you just have to scramble over boulders big and small to get around. Worth the effort but only experienced hikers with a sense for adventure should attempt this!"
Christopher Roman
"Excellent mountain bike or hiking trails around the base. Even some rock climbing on short routes. The hike to the top is brutal. Slippery and loose for several hundred feet at first. Great views and solitude for the effort though."
Morgan Hall
"Rough and difficult trail to get to the top, but worth the effort."
