Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Cedar Point Beach's free admission and beautiful Lake Erie views, calling it a 'special' addition to the area. The clean sand, dog-friendly policy, and lively atmosphere with live music are frequently praised. Some note the constant presence of amusement park noise, but most find it adds to the unique charm.
"This was our second time to Cedar Point, and the beach and boardwalk area became open. This was worth the 4-hour drive. We absolutely love visiting Lake Erie, but this place is extra special. First of all, you don't need the Cedar Point ticket or pass to go to the beach. We never knew that. The views here are awesome. You have the park with all its colors and lights, you have a boardwalk sidewalk that takes you along the beach with jet ski and kayak rental places, then there's a view of the lake that goes to the horizon. Granted, it's not a quiet place as you'll hear coasters or riders, but it is beautiful. It has a similar feel to the boardwalk amusement park in Santa Cruz, California. We never knew something like this existed in Ohio and is one more reason we'll take the long day trip to this area."
