"Starting with the fabulous boardwalk that is at the entrance to the city cemetery, this fabulous 3.5 acre park is surrounded by water on three sides which makes for a superior opportunity to enjoy the view of the bay and the local wild life. Or enjoy the disc golf course.
The park has a couple of pavilions and plenty of beach access. A couple of fishermen were here as well. Vehicles are not allowed - there is parking at the entrance. Leashed dogs are allowed.
This was a very peaceful spot to appreciate nature. I hope you enjoy it as well."

"I love this spot. I go here everyday while I'm down in Cedar Key for the winter, it's one of the reasons I've been going to Cedar Key every winter since 2017.
I use the exercise stations, it's a great incentive to get out and exercise while seeing the beauty of the estuaries of Cedar Key. Wonderful spot, with tails, boardwalk though the mangroves, disk golf and fishing spots.
However, it is a bit of a jewel in the rough. I get the City has very limited resources but the equipment is old, the maintenance is not done often enough and just needs a lot of attention.
I don't believe the city grasps how important this park is to tourism and how it generates money for the businesses in the area, by bring people to the area. But I don't know all the pressures they have for capital investment into infrastructure either"
