What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Buffalo Chip offers a vibrant and authentic Western experience with thrilling bull riding, energetic line dancing, and a lively saloon atmosphere. While the venue can get very crowded, leading to long lines for amenities, the top-notch service, engaging entertainment, and fun vibe make it a highly recommended spot for a night out in Arizona.
"We went for the Wednesday night bull riding. The service from the doorman to the DJ was top notch. We received great parking information, easy no-hassle entry, personal attention while buying swag, clean restrooms, quick bar service in multiple areas, DJ mix range was impressive as it spanned country to hip hop, new music to classics, the ring announcer kept the crowd engaged and introduced each rider and bull."

"Had a great time in the VIP area. Lucky to have that spot because the rest of the place was so crowded. We had all you can eat buffet and a private bar. Service was great up there. Rodeo was fun. Bathroom situation needs improved. One bathroom for hundreds of drinking patrons. Lines were insane. Otherwise we had a great time."

"Fun place, very rustic. VIP seats are expensive, and we were initially given a table with restricted views so we could only see half the arena. We had to move to the arena seats for the first part of the show to be able to see properly. We were then offered another table with a better view as a party did not show. Food was good BBQ buffet style, but got cold quickly. Would have been nice to have a sweet dessert like a bit of apple pie or a brownie to help justify the $65 charge.
They then over charged us by not deducting the full deposit we paid from the final bill. They did resolve this very quickly."

The Buffalo Chip Experience: More Than Just a Bar
Beyond the main attractions, Buffalo Chip also features a mechanical bull for those seeking a personal challenge and serves up hearty Western-style food like BBQ, chops, and tacos. While the rustic charm is a major draw, visitors should be aware that the venue can get extremely crowded, especially on weekends, leading to long lines for restrooms and bars.
