What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise WakeMed Soccer Park for its family-friendly atmosphere and exciting professional soccer matches, particularly the NC Courage games. The Fan Fest area is a hit with kids, and the park is generally well-maintained. Some note limited shade and the need for more water fountains, but overall, it's considered a great venue for sports and community events.
"Came to WakeMed from Nike Cross Country Regionals. Will definitely crowded staff on site was able to help with parking. Parking was 15 dollars and really the only option. Food vendors were present and the cross country course great. As an athlete I can attest that the course was large, in good condition and quite fun to run on."

"What a fun night! Enjoying the air conditioned boxed seats on a hot summer night was quite a treat. The catered food was amazing and the seating was comfortable. And when the sun went down, it was easy to slip right out the door and see the game from the outside seats. Loved everything about this experience! My first Courage game, but I'm certainly hoping it will not be my last!"
Christine Becker (Chris)
"Attended an NC Courage game and recommend to anyone else that enjoys soccers. It was also a family friendly event and my 3 little girls had a great time watching. We were way up in 500 section and they were a little nervous at first but by the end forgot about the height and had a great time (its nothing compared to a larger stadium in height or steepness). The parking was a lot easier than I expected and it was a short walk into the stadium. There was a fan fest area with food trucks and a 2 or 3 bounce house type obstacle courses. Unfortunately, for our visit it was cold and rainy, but still had a great time."
