Visitors rave about Spider Mountain Bike Park, highlighting its unique chairlift as the only one in Texas for biking and its year-round accessibility. The friendly staff, good trail variety from beginner to expert, and scenic views are frequently praised. Some note that accommodations could be improved for families, and value can be a consideration, but overall, it's a highly recommended destination for downhill MTB enthusiasts.
"Found this place on youtube and planned a 2 day trip with the bros. We stayed at the lodge which was awesome with it being next to the park.
The lift is amazing, friendly staff, and their bike shop saved me when I got a flat. I took my 29hardtail out there, it was a little challenging on some of the trails but not impossible. Once I took my time in warming up and getting familiar with the trail system, I had a great time! Very grateful to have it here in TX."

"Great experience here! Took our own bikes but you can rent a pretty nice one there. Get your tickets online early. They're cheaper that way."

"So grateful that we have a place with year round lift access, especially in the summer when I am too lazy to pedal
Up hill lol.
The trails are solid and offer a good range from beginner to some sections that I would consider expert. Over the few years it’s been here it certainly has been improving!
The staff and community there are awesome.
I am praying one day that it can become
More of a destination for families.
The accommodations could use some
Work but…. It is on the lake and there’s enough stuff going on to keep my wife busy on a Saturday.
Thanks everyone who makes this place such a good time."
