What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for Burnet's services are mixed, with some visitors praising fast and friendly service for specific needs like birth certificates and appreciating the historic courthouse square. However, others have encountered significant frustration with unexpected closures and difficulties in contacting local government offices, leading to disappointment and inconvenience.
"This place is a joke. Got pulled over for registration out. My fault. Yet, called a week after to settle up on ticket and the lady said they do not even have my ticket yet and to call back each week until they do. Well, tried calling number on my ticket later, went to some weird vmail and could not leave a message-mailbox full. Called the office number I found online and they forwarded me to precinct 2 and received another vmail where you could not leave a message. I also tried going to the address that is on my ticket when I was in town and it just took me to the middle of nowhere. Got the correct address from the lady when I called back and I guess I just have to drive all the way there to get this taken care of but what a joke of an operation. Really need to get it together."

"Here on Friday December 22, 2023. Doors are locked. There is a notice posted on the door that they are going to be closed Monday and Tuesday. Did y’all decide to start the holiday early? Is it too much to ask you to do your job? Some of us have to drive 20 miles to get here only to find out you are closed."
