"Been going here since I was a little kid. Not much has changed. The negative reviews are generally about Burlington. Ultimately it's camping, if you're looking for glamorous perfection it's not that. Showers used to cost a quarter they're now free, but not super hot. The homeless population in the area has definitely grown but I can't see how people are blaming the campground for that. Was quiet and no one bothered us while we were there. Cars come and go during the day but feel that's kind of to be expected. The beach was clean and the water was pristine. Really nice for little ones, as it was not weedy or slimy by the shore, the waves were small and almost non-existent, and the depth was very gradual. My 2 year old loved running around in the water where he could touch the ground. All in all will be back and looking back it's pretty much the same I remember it being 30 years ago."
