What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Andy A-Dog Williams Skatepark's stunning waterfront location on Lake Champlain, calling it one of the most picturesque skateparks they've seen. The park's design is praised for its variety of features, including a large bowl and numerous ledges, making it a gem for skaters of all levels. However, some note that the park can become crowded, leading to potential flow issues and congestion due to blind corners.
"The most picturesque backdrop to any skatepark I've ever been to. Situated on Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont lies this large skatepark dedicated presumably to a late local skater.
I was really impressed with this park. It has a huge bowl in the centre with a cradle and almost vertical bank, and also a smaller 4 foot mini bowl.
There's plenty of ledges dotted about of varying sizes and a mini snake run to vert wall. The really steep narrow bank is easy on the eye but you can't really skate it that easily.
I enjoyed this park when there was only a few other skaters there, but once it started filling up people were getting under eachother's feet. There's a couple of blind corners and no obvious flow of traffic.
It's probably safe to say this is the best skatepark in Burlington and possibly the best in Vermont.

"Location is perfect! The view of Lake Champlain is beautiful, and parking is cheap! The weekends are a bit more tricky, but unless there is something going on at the waterfront, it's manageable. Free fun with access to the bike path as well. I highly recommend."

"This is a one of a kind place. Beauty, functionality, accessibility. Truly a gem. If you're a skater it's automatic awesome. If you're a parent with kids, bring them and they will stay all day. Make sure to bring helmets and expect it to be busy especially if the weather is nice. It can be hectic in terms of all the people skating so it's important to be aware of where you are and where to going, even if you're watching, but that's a good feature too. It's directly on the bike path and is a can't miss for skating fans."
