"Beautiful spot! Easy to see the glacier on the distance. There was a lady from the Glacier Institute and she gave us a lot of cool info and facts about the place."

"4th worth stop from east entrance of the "going to the sun road" A highly recommemded road to drive on in Glacier National park totally worth it. The view from this spot of the Jackson Glacier is truly exceptional especially in fall. There were no wshrooms or picnic bench its just a quick stop like many others on this road. Ample parking for many cars for a quick pic stop. What made this a worth stop was the view of the mountains, glacier and valley. The view is just majestic. We visited in Oct 2024 and the view of fall tree was just amazing the road is with lots of turns so driver wont enjoy the view but passangers will. In winter with snow it can be challenging winter tires recommended. There are many other spots worth the stop on this road each of them I have seperately reviewed with tons of images and videos. The Going to the sun road is 80 Km long but takes a full day if you stop on all spots and spend time. You do need parking permit to visit these spots. Follow for more detailed reviews."
